Deborah Peacock
Deborah Peacock is President/CEO at Peacock Law P.C. and an Independent Board Director for several companies (natural resources, battery materials and utilities). In her CEO role at Peacock Law (30 employees), Deborah has managed a highly successful business for 30 years. She provides legal and technology advice to an international clientele. Her expertise includes commercialization of innovative technologies, intellectual property, complex transactions, M&A, technology trends, regulatory and permitting. Her technology fields are mineral processing, mining/minerals, metallurgy and materials science, oil & gas, energy/utilities, alternative energy, battery materials, energy storage, water treatment, outer space, aerospace, and chemical and industrial processes/equipment.

Deborah is currently serving on the boards of Westwater Resources (NYSE:WWR), NM Gas Company (parent Emera TSE:EMA), the Colorado School of Mines Foundation, NewSpace Nexus, and Disa Technologies (advisory board). She served in numerous other business, public, and non-profit boards in the past.

Deborah’s professional and community recognitions include: Governor’s New Mexico Distinguished Public Service award, Governor’s Volunteerism award, Colorado School of Mines Distinguished Alumni award and Women Leadership award, Ethics in Business award, NMSPE Engineer of the Year, Martindale Hubbell AV Rating, Best Lawyers in America recognition, and SuperLawyers recognition.

Deborah holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is licensed to practice law in New Mexico, Colorado, and New York. She is a registered Patent Attorney with the U.S. Patent Office and a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and New Mexico.
