Steven Cox

Steve Cox is an advisor to ZeroTwelve, bringing more than 30 years of experience across the heavy building materials industry. He spent nine years at Command Alkon, most recently as Vice President of Customer Success, after earlier leadership roles there in business development, sales, marketing, and client services. Before Command Alkon, he served as North American Sales Director for W.R. Grace’s concrete admixture business. His career has centered on ready-mix operations, admixtures, digital production and dispatch systems, and helping producers get more value from technology.

 

He has been active in the industry organizations that shape how concrete is specified, produced, and improved. He served on the RMC Research & Education Foundation Board, the CarbonCure Industry Advisory Board, and the Concrete Industry Management National Steering Committee, where he was named an executive officer and Membership Committee chair. He also worked closely with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association. Following his 2024 retirement from Command Alkon, he has continued to apply that experience and those relationships in advisory roles.

 

Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Auburn University. In 2020, he was named a Provider Pro to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
